Ipswich season ticket for their return to the promised land…. Irrespective of division!

Recommended Posts

Sent to me from an Ipswich supporting colleague …………

These are for the centre of their equivalent of the South Stand & they’re renewals only……. ……….. £903 of your English pounds for a renewal!

Workmate says their hanging on to see which division their in next season but club leaks to the East Anglian Times have stated £1135 if promoted & £999 for the championship!

Unsurprisingly they’ve sold out renewals for all sections excepting the potential new fans in the Cobold stand!

American hedge funds at their finest 🤷‍♂️

The US financial services industry thinks that European football in general is enormously undervalued and that a great deal more profit can be squeezed from it.

That's why we're seeing so much US investment in clubs like Ipswich, QPR, Birmingham and maybe one day Wednesday.

Quite eyewatering for the "premium seating", but this seems to be a selective portion of the full document - a potentially Premier League season ticket for adults for £381 in the block or blocks at the top of the page seems quite reasonable.

There you go, as expected if you dig a little deeper and find the full document, the majority of prices aren't bad at all, it's only the "premium" bits that are excessive and they seem more like corporate sections anyway as you get "padded seats, premium views, free matchday programme, hot or soft drinks vouchers, bar access."

Which is perhaps not great for the game going forward in this country.

There is an awful lot of criticism for the sport washing oil states (rightfully so), but American venture capitalists buying up more and more English football clubs should get the alarm bells ringing, particularly if they end up being the outright majority in the top flight.

They're here to make money and one of the things that hits that balance sheet most is relegation from the lucrative Premier League.

We have an equivalent.

In our premium area you get an unrestricted view, running hot water and a sausage roll.

Was thinking this when I saw the first post and the much cheaper option was clearly visible.

Nothing to see here eh

Here's the rest of their pricing - just for balance

Could you imagine Chansiri offering us prices as LOW as this?

I couldn't

And that's for Championship / League One!

But Ipswich Town could actually be paying these prices for PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL

Our fans are getting FLEECED

There are other clubs that have high prices, but are they such a bloody basket case as ours?

Ipswich have a chance of paying similar prices to watch Spurs, liverpool Man City etc...Look where this nutter is taking us...

Ipswich are riding a wave of optimism, while we have all on to drag ourselves to Hillsborough even with a ticket thats already paid for FFS!

I quoted the most expensive seats, renewals & new customers as that’s exactly what’s invariably done on here!

There’s absolutely no denying the fact that despite not knowing which division they’re in they’ll have to pay £903 to renew their season ticket in the centre of the Cobold stand if they’re in the championship & a new customer will have to fork out £999 & if they’re in the EPL a new customer Pays £1135.

As every other seat in the ground has been renewed already, any one wanting to watch football at Portman Rd will have to pay one of the above prices if they want a season ticket!

That is an irrefutable fact!

if there’s any POTG being held back I’d be interested to see what they would be set at!

Like someone mentioned earlier, the Yanks aren’t in it for the good of ITFC ………. They want a massive return on their investment!

Ipswich Town fans (adults) could watch Premier League football with a season ticket costing £370 next season

£370 to watch Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Spurs, LIverpool etc

Meanwhile - Our fans are getting fleeced and some fans are STILL trying to tell us we're not
