WE should have hired

With all the managers we had this year we ignored the manager with a Wednesday win percentage of over 45% and lives six miles from Hillsborough. Would have at least got them organized and hard to beat.

The manager at KFC Owlerton Green could get a better trick out of this lot to be fair ......

Likewise with the manager of McDonalds, Penistone Rd

And lets be right, after DM that's our recruitment market.

"Hard to beat"?

Going into his last hurrah against the Blades we'd won just 2 of 10, including consecutive defeats to historic football luminaries such as Blackpool, Exeter, Stevenage and Chesterfield.

Indeed - if we’d have lost that derby, I don’t think many of our fans would be overly fond of him.

You are correct sir. If you had won a few of those games his win percentage would have been even higher. What is the win percentage of the last 5 Wednesday managers combined.

Still, quite a feat in the midst of a season when we got 93 points.

Thompsons embarrassed every 'manager' we've had this season

We've had some right muppets in dugout this season

Hopefully the next one has a set of balls

Megson chat is beyond boring. Are people really still pining for him?

He laid the foundations in League 1 last time and we should be thankful for that, but as DJ correctly pointed out we were on the slide. The club were right to move on from him at the time. It is telling that he hasn’t had another gig since he left.

I've never understood this fixation with win percentage. In theory you could have a record of 0% and still get the same number of points as someone who manages 30%. It also does not take into account any potential mitigating circumstances.

For example, according to this limited statistic, Alan Irvine is less than 1% behind Ron Atkinson and Trevor Francis, and is ahead of Jack Charlton.

GM & DC in the same vicinity would lead to a critical mass of fissile material with the resulting explosion levelling everything between Neepsend and Winn Gardens. Nuclear Physicists have long theorized that such large amounts of raw ginger pragmatism in close proximity to highly refined Thai phuckwittery could result in the release of unprecedented levels of destructive energy.

No - and I’m aware nothing matters to some of our fans except that fixture
