steelcityowlsfan
Speaking of kits wasn’t there a story/article that said Nike approached us about making our kits and Chansiri turned them down? I’m sure I saw that somewhere?

Same factory, same staff, same machines, just a different design being printed out 2 1 Owlstalk Shop

There is some difference in the quality of some shirts though. You can tell when you feel them. I’m afraid it’s still a material world and while ever it’s still cool to wear Nike because Jordan made them famous, people will still want that product.

Same factory, same staff, same machines, just a different design being printed out That's quite enough of the facts, thank you very much. Don't you know that this site is for the fans who live in a fairytale world where all top sportswear brands are apparently desperate to make Wednesday's bespoke kits out of the finest materials known to man and that a 15-year-old on Twitter is able to call themselves a 'concept kit creator' and instantly put themselves in line for the top design jobs? Elev8 shirts are cheap tat. I have a Kappa made Napoli shirt and the difference in quality (materials, stitching) is immense.

Thank god for capitalism providing a competitive market in which shirt manufacturers are incentivised to make better shirts than their competitors, so us the consumer is satisfied

The Elev8-branded shirts are the best material and construction-wise we've had since the Puma ones in the '90s. The Diadora ones were fairly good, but the others were terrible. Maybe the home shirt is too dark a shade of blue? I actually rather like the zig-zag effect - makes it different without really changing the format we all want too much. Shame all the best looking Wednesday kits i've seen over the last ten or so years have been mock-ups posts on here.
