We will , see regarding players and how we handle future p&s.

We couldn’t throw money around because we weren’t allowed, the way out of this is a long term plan, maximising player growth and sales, maximising revenue from commercial sides and living within our means.

Not sure we are-doing any any of those three right now

We'll see?

The big spending stopped ages ago pal, wakey wakey.

The lesson has been learned, the lesson has tried to be rectified with the stadium deal, and yes we could have continued throwing money around and been unable to register players and got a points deduction like Birmingham.

How about see the full picture? Chairman chased dream, Chairman was somewhat naive, Chairman has done what he can to repair the damage, and now judge him on what he actually does now... then that wouldn't be in a sleeper cell agenda, would it?

Just to confirm the stadium has been sold for £60m

the cost removed from the accounts is £22m

Giving us a profit of £38m

Does not say to whom the stadium has been sold

The full £60m is shown as a debtor ie money owed

DC had a loan account of £77m at 31st July 2018 up £40m on the previous year

Apparently shares were issued to DC in Sept 18 but someone best tell Companies House because it ain't on there yet

The FL will still be looking into this deal.

I think the EFL will have already looked into it & ok'd it.  It will have been one of the reasons for delays in account submissions.

However although they might have ok'd it because it's not broken any current rules they'll probably not be happy about it & will take steps to close the loophole.

Mismanagement and incompetence saved by a stadium sale.

When we were signing big name players and travelling to Wembley, were you on here moaning about mismanagement and incompetence?

That means that we owe £137 million to DC and un-named stadium purchaser?

Will help but don't believe for a minute we can spend without significant sales.

Remember FFP over 3 year period, yes made £2m profit in 2018 accounts, but lost £20m in 2017 and likely lost £at least £20m in year to 31/7/2019 so will still be a £38m loss over 3 years

But doesn't the 16/17 year now no longer count at the end of this year? Cos its over a rolling 3 year period?
