Blackburn - Bruce

Recommended Posts

Blackburn-
They were doing well. Had a bad month. Then a good result the other night.  You’re never surprised a team wins for or five or when they lose four or five. That’s the Championship. Graham and Dack are a handful. But we’re playing well ourselves. Tony Mowbray's in charge, so they're a good footballing team. He’s stabilised the club. Done very, very well. He’s bought well. IT’ll be a very tough game. But we're playing well ourselves one defeat in fifteen. We have to keep it up. But you can't predict in this league. Our hardest game so far has been Rotherham! So you know you can't take anything for granted.

That game and the trip back was the lowest point of the season for me. I was convinced the relegation trap door had opened and Jos was taking us down.

I think we owe them one for that day and I'd like to think the players feel the same way too.

Lets just make sure we get Dack nailed early doors, we made him look like bloody Diego Maradona last time out.

Could do with Hutch leaving his calling card on him in the first couple of minutes.

The first half of the game at Ewood this season is in my top 5 worst ever Wednesday performances. Utterly shambolic defensively and not one attempt at goal.

That was the moment when it was obvious he had to go and had to go quickly.

We cant play that badly this week but it would be absolute classic Wednesday to lose that game just as Bruce is instilling the belief for a late season push.

Don't worry bud I have faith, as we have the " all new improved" hutchinator back to sort him out.

His discipline since his returned to the side has been a huge bonus. He's really reeled it in and we're now seeing the best of him.

(Though he has been helped occasionally by 20,000 people shouting "NO!" as he careered across the pitch with the red mist in the eyes!)

Looks like I was wrong with having the hutchinator back today too, seems like he's injured himself in the bloody warm up, typical.
