Out of embargo.

IF we are now allowed to sign loan players I can’t believe we hadn’t already got some sort of deals already on standby.

Absolutely ridiculous.

At the moment we are being run as a joke.

Jos’s interview was poor, looked deflated, got the view not good in camp and either full of crap or hasn’t a clue what’s going on re loans or outgoing players.

I can see Hutch being dropped tomoz, with him being subbed half time can imagine few words spoken n fall out.

Joao injury seems a strange one too.

Wtf is up with Abdi.

How long Hooper off fit.

club far too secretive and seems to be distancing itself from the fans.

We can barely afford loans without going over FFP for next summer. Chansiri already said if we don’t get promoted this year we’re in big trouble

Hope we are ok if we get relegated cos that is a lot more likely

Standby?

You assume that clubs/players would entertain the idea of waiting around for EFL to decide if Wednesday can sign players or not. Not to mention any stipulations/rules the EFL have set for any potential signing (such as a max wage etc).

Yes lined up targets. Not rocket science

Few points to take on board with this one ....   yes the club are out of the embargo but nobody knows on what terms

Potential scenarios could be 1 in out, loans upto X amount a week in wages , every deal would be scrutinised by the FL

So we don’t really know what market we would be competing in, if any at all , my personal opinion is we would be very limited on what wages we could pay making any player we could bring in probably no better than our current options

So to line up any potential deals was probably next to impossible

But you said standby targets - suggesting that we should've simply signed a bunch of loans within the last few days, since coming out of an embargo last Friday.

How do you know they don't have targets? Perhaps they do, and perhaps negotiations are ongoing. Signing a player isn't rocket science i'm sure, but it certainly isn't an exact science either + with the added complication of P&S rules to contend with, i'm sure it's going to be a a frustrating and difficult time trying to sign anyone.

The average championship player is on 20k per week. We cannot sign anyone on more than 10k per week.

So we can't even loan an average player, unless the loaning club agrees to pay half his wages....as if that would happen

But rest assured DC's agents will be scouring the lower leagues, probably in Scotland or the Sheffield and District league for a bargain.

It's only a matter of time before they find a couple, we have always been excellent at finding young players with tremendous potential.
