He’s improving all the time and has had a good season, especially considering the injuries we have had and he drove us forward with nothing around him at times. Read the context of the previous email I am not moaning I am just saying previously that we over paid on him, he has had a reasonable season and is probably now worth what we paid for him. Having seen him play at left back this season and also his tackling I am hoping we get in a proven Left back and leave reach on the wing. While I agree he needs to stop doing that, it may not be as bad as everyone makes out... he averages the 7th most tackles of any of our outfield players, ahead of the likes of Hunt, Jones, Pelupessy, Bannan and Palmer. Sticky belly Posted April 24, 2018 Share Posted April 24, 2018 I think Reach has had a decent season and is one of the shining lights of a pretty depressing season for us. For me he has to play as a left winger that is his position. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty as such, he does pull out of tackles where he thinks he will get hurt and he certainly is no defender. He's not strong enough to play anywhere centrally either. But his delivery from the left is very good and he has created a good few goals this season, so we should be happy he seem's to have improved.
