Sean Clare it OUT for the rest of the season having picked up an injury that may need surgery

I know it's probably just his 'look' but, good God, does JL look depressed or what?

PS I may have missed it in the maelstrom of accusations and counter-accusations in this thread but what exactly is the injury?

Not really no

If your grandad was sat in front of Dom Howson listening to him ask you a question that's pretty much the look he would have

Patient, Calm, understanding of Dom's situation

It's normal

This is exactly why Jos hasn't been playing him and the other youngsters in every single game.

They aren't used to 90minutes of intense football at this level yet, it takes a big toll on them after a game and they need to be managed properly and given enough time to adjust/recover. Even if they are 100% fit going into the match and put in a 7/10 performance it does not mean they are ready to do it all again 3 days later.

Playing when you are fatigued or playing with a knock drastically increase your chances of getting a serious injury it also explains why we have so many players long term injured.

What a load of rubbish.

He's 21 not 17.

He's been out on loan 2/3 times.

Wilkinson did the same with Hirst; didn't over play him.

Has he ever played more than 6 games at this level in his career? No, he's played a few times for L1/L2 clubs.

Playing for a club in the lower leagues semi regularly for half a season is not the same as playing for us.

Apart from the vast gap in quality the teams he's playing against at this level are much better and he is playing in a side where he will need to track back, a lot, really put a shift in and get used to not having a lot of the ball. Not to mention he's playing alongside a first XI who are all in a new formation and fairly new to the first team themselves?

At one stage of the season we had the entire first XI out through injury - which when analysed almost all of the injuries were down to players being very fatigued, recurring injuries or minor injuries that were not treated properly and the player was rushed back.

You are going to have to explain to me how thats a load of rubbish because that is EXACTLY the reasons why we have so many injuries?

Still very sad he is out for season, despite being nursed
