My 3 litre S was same as one above - Signal Orange (not Sebring - i did have a Sebring Red Mk 3 Cortina 2litre GT though)

I didn't like the Mk 2 tbh - but did briefly have just a 1.6L - very anodyne

I had a Mk1 2 litre GT also - bronze colour (called Amber Gold) with black vinyl roof - like the one below

The car headlight on the bottom right belongs to a Ford Anglia

The merc is probably A 300 select?

There's a couple of Bedford vans at the rear  and what looks like a white Mgbgt

Behind the marina ..

But what really catches my eye is that Mk4 cortina at the back ..

That looks like a "Crayford Convertible"

If it is then that's now worth a lot of Beer Tokens ......horrible colour though....

What make is the caravan awning top dead centre?

i'm always surprised by the size of the tire wall on cars of that age, they didn't look massive at the time, now they look like hgv tyres.

Been working out in Azerbaijan. Every other car is an old  Lada. Not much to look at, zero performance and very uncomfortable. But so reliable and simple to repair. Heavy on fuel , but in Azerbaijan diesel is 28p a litre.

I would've thought the Niva would be more practical out there.

Once tried to park one ...what a task that was as they had no PAS.

But very robust.

1985 or 86.

South Yorkshire County Council DLO started the work, SYCC was abolished in April 1986.  The, then, Sheffield Works Department completed the work.

If my memory serves me right this photo was taken about May / June 1987.
