Forestieri, no question.  Of course there have been loads of other injuries this season but he's been the biggest miss - top scorer and top assist maker for the last two seasons for a side that made the playoffs. Take that away from the team, and there's no wonder we've been nowhere this season.

Depends on what aspect you look at. People will always have different opinions on this.

My take is... there are two players in our squad who offer us something no one else does. They can’t be replaced. That’s Forestieri and Hutchinson. So there our best two players.

But I can also see the arguments for Hooper and Lee

Under Carlos, which is all we can judge it on:-

Hooper

Lee

Bannan

Forestieri

Had Carlos had the gumption to play Forestieri in his best role, out wide, I would put him No 1.

I look forward to seeing all of the above playing for Jos. They could be a revelation.

Absolutely stupid question !!!  Favourite player -yes  Best Player  -no. Cant see Westwood playing centre forward, of FF playing in goal. Some players are superb in one position, but no-one is best player in all positions.

Nothing against spirit of question - just framing of wording.

Forestieri. Without question.

No one else can do what he does. That combination of workrate, speed, skill and goal scoring ability, is very rare.

Fully fit and focused, he's a class above the rest. A special player.

This

FF was magnificent that first season, the way he played reminded me of Suarez.

The problem with FF is in his head, he can easily get disinterested and then his teamwork ethics really suffer.

Not sure you can nursemaid him for ever and think he will end up being one of those players who shines for a while and them moves on. Repeat at his new club.
