Is our season over already?

The problem is there are at least 6 other teams will probably get more points out of the remaining games than us. Everyone isn’t going to stand still so we can catch them eg...Blades 1 point from last 12 and we are still 10 behind them.

So unfortunately yes it’s all over bar the shouting.

IMHO time to get someone in now to get things ready for next season.

Obviously not, no. But 10 points with 25 games to play is nothing.

For 45 minutes yesterday it looked like it was going to be 7 points. Would we be having this discussion if it were 7? That’s twon wins and a draw. Is there THAT much of a difference between 7 and 10 points?

The table is taking shape.  We're seeing the likely autos and the playoff contenders. We may get an outlier that zooms up late like Fulham, but based on our increasingly-poor form, who really believes it will be us?

This season is definitely over. If I was the Chairman, I would make the change now and start to do some wheeling and dealing in advance to forming a new team for next season.

We need to get rid of a load but trust me, this will not be easy.

Until we can extricate ourselves from the source of the dross, I wouldn’t be confident in our recruitment How much is Chansiri, and the club, intertwined with Doyen

Exactly the point. Change the management, and we could be that side that thunders up the league and makes an unlikely push for the Play Offs.

It’s doubtful to happen while Carlos is in charge, but a new manager may well be the change we need.

If Carlos left today and we got someone decent on, I wouldn’t rule out squeezing in to the play-offs.

If Carlos stays the season is 100% over.

Anything is mathematically possible. But I would also add, if that was the case , then what have the players been up to. They have to be held culprable as well in all this fiasco of a season.

weve got 27 points after 21 games ,at most its 33 at the halfway point ,which would leave 69 points left .we'd need 39 of them at least to make playoffs.not a chance with clueless incharge.

anyone who thinks we will get playoffs is on the same planet as clueless

I agree to an extent, but have you listened to Carlos’s analysis? The players are carrying out his orders.

Also he is not setting the team up to get the best out of the players. 4-4-2 is clearly not right for this squad of players but each week we stick with it.

No, as long as everyone else scores no points....which won’t happen.

the answer is yes, yesterdays performance was the nail in the coffin, theres no spirit in the side, no fight.we have been hoping things would change but it wont happen unless a change of manager and backroom staff is made now. Dont delay DC.

For every club that gains points their opposition is dropping them.

If we sort ourselves out 10 points is not a lot to make up over the course of 25 games.

It is......that’s the point.....7 other clubs have to do worse than us for us to have a chance and that won’t happen.

Exactly. Which isn’t unrealistic if we got ourselves sorted.

It’s very fine lines that could be the difference between where we are now and where we should be.

Saying we have only took 27 from the fist 21 games, id say its a massive ask.

If we plod along as we have done, I agree.

With a change I think it’s more than achievable.

You can’t do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

Something clearly needs to change.

We are 7 points off the bottom 3 and heading one way only, The season is over as far as promotion goes, Even if we went on a world beating run not every team above us is going to fail to win every week, Add to that teams scrapping for survival always turn us over, the season is done with apart from the shouting and that's if we change the manager. With Carlos still here we will finish up back in the pub leauge

So you think that the teams above us won’t drop ten points in 25 games?

ok.....so all teams drop 10 points in 25 games which means 65 points......that means we will have to win all 25 and keep our fingers crossed for goal difference.

love your optimism but give it up.......
