Even my wife knew that he'd be causing transfer havoc before the season was out given his starring role for France at the Euros!

True, but the thing that gives credibility is he only seems to come up with about one transfer rumour a week, he isn't one of those serious bullsh1tters.

In fact the only rumoured ones in the last month seem to be the sacking of Wilson, Wisdom and two loan signings by Millwall.

Wilson was right.

One of the loan signings by Millwall was right.

The other one appeared to be right until Burton gazumped them.

I am not saying this guy is right, just that he doesn't seem to be a serious bullsh1tter so it could be.

He's primarily an RB but could cover at CB, broke through at a young age with a lot of promise but then lost his way a bit, probably does need to be a permanent signing somewhere to feel at home/loved rather than constantly on loan, could well be a good fit for us. Good age, good height, good ability, hopefully still hungry.

on 15th December he also said Jed Wallace was going to Millwall on loan from Wolves- when the window opened that happened.

He also said Millwall were getting Marvin Sordell.  That appeared to have substance but then Burton came in and offered Championship football.

He genuinely doesn't seem to be a serious bullsh1tter.  May be something in this.

Have a proper look, Jed Wallace went last January to Millwall and he brought up a tweet from then.

The guy winds people up

Why Andre Wisdom Is the Forgotten Liverpool Player Who Will Explode in 2015/16

However, following a tumultuous on-off season at the Hawthorns, Wisdom remains something of an unknown quantity.

For example, his natural—or best—position is still a mystery. According to Rob Bleaney of the Guardian, then-Baggies manager Irvine said on signing Wisdom last summer, "He grew up as a centre-back and played on the left side of central defence for Liverpool against Preston on Saturday."

Yet he was clearly earmarked as a right-back at the Midlands club, making all 22 of his Premier League starts on the defensive flank.

Furthermore, Bleaney also reports Albion technical director Terry Burton as saying, "He’s a good defender and he looks to enjoy stopping the opposition from playing which is a quality we want our players to have."

Billed as a defensive-minded talent, Wisdom was then shunted into the periphery when the structurally astute, defence-favouring Tony Pulis took over in January. He made just six league appearances under the Welshman, totaling 351 minutes.

He's not that wise. See below, extracted from Wikipaedia....

Wisdom was appointed as captain of the England U21 side in 2013, however in his first game in the role, a qualifier against Finland, he was sent off the pitch with a straight red card after kicking an opponent intentionally.[34] After the completion of a four-match suspension, Wisdom did not return to the squad.[35]
