FF has been brassed off that he has not been offered a new deal but it sounds like the club have said play like you're the best player at the club and we'll give you a new deal. I just wish Fernando had adopted this mindset at the start of the season, but what's done is done now. Hopefully he keeps it up, gets his new deal and fires us up the division. Up to him. In fact it has happened to me and I did ask for (and was given) a pay increase. that's impossible to answer , I don't know if we have brought someone in to do forestieri's job ......i'd guess fletcher and abdi would be on more money than him but they are 2 different types of player ....all I know is that he was happy to sign a deal for 4 years on an agreed wage if he had it written in that he had to be the top earner then he as a case for a rise if he didn't then doesn't .......I don't blame him asking for more money coz we all want what we can get and if chansiri does give it to him then good luck to the lad but the owner will be making a rod for his own back coz if someone starts playing better than forestieri he could be in the the same position again .and again and again .
