areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Could it be a midfield diamond? Westwood Palmer Lees Hutch Pudil Jones Lee Bannan Forestieri João Fletcher
Mr. Chow
Brilliant hunt dropped hopefully Palmer can step up but somehow I can't see it. Looks like 442 today too...

royalowlisback
Joao caused them all sorts of problems last season. Good move by Carlos, the team has much more strength and height - especially with Wallace being dropped.

No Wallace but Buckley still cant get in... Well this proves he wont drop either Bannan or Lee - risky. Depends on how it will lineup I suppose, but not overly convinced about that team It's a long season, it takes time for new players to gel. HirstWhoScoredIt
This could be 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or diamond. Will be interesting to see what he goes with. i'll be surprised if it's diamond because surely Abdi would be tailor made for top of the diamond. We have a decent squad, admittedly short in a couple of places but if you underperform you should get dropped.

I agree to a point but he wont gel if he is a) played out of position or b) sitting on the bench. If Jones is going to sit in front of the back four, surely it provides the prefect platform for Abdi to play his natural game Lee would stay for me but Bannan has been the more inconsistent and would make way. Just think CC needs to be a bit bold This shows his loyalty to both players - whether this is right or wrong remains to be seen but surely £4M worth of talent should be playing, not benched. full fathom five
Agree with Hunt and Wallace being dropped but Abdi must feel very aggrieved to be dropped unless he's still carrying the knock from last week.
