Wath-owl
It was said by a lot on here that it would look immaculate in the second year since having all of the infrastructure and Desso installed last summer, and it certainly looks as if that's the case. It's looking like a bowling green right now, and already in better shape than this time last season. The ground staff are doing a great job, and massive credit to Mr Chansiri for the significant investments that he has made in this area. Hopefully having the new lightning rigs in throughout the whole winter will keep it in excellent condition all season. Speaking of the lighting rigs, I found it interesting that they're already being used on the South Stand shadowed area, even on a warm and sunny summers day. Bluesteel
Looks class. But the test will be whether it looks that way or similar next March

MrsHall
It's pure sex when sun is out and sprays are on. Gives me the urge for some explicit mowing.

owls-swfc
I would like to see the head groundsman, and assistant groundsman have a game of enlarged noughts and crosses across the "mowed" cross (vertical and horizontal lines) that create squares on the pitch - using a conventional garden mower to create the 0 or the X at each home match. Whoever wins at the end of season with most 0's or X's, 3 across or 3 down - gets to be head groundsman the following season. Jobs a Gud-un! wilfsmith
It looks amazing. My eyes are still drawn to the PRESTO STAND signage. Love the juxtaposition of the new with the old.

themaskedowl
How I have missed pitch threads. But as good as this is, I fear that within 24hrs I'll be a huddled sweating mess searching desperately for my next fix of pitchy goodness.
