Recommended Posts

whats best places to currently eat around the ground or Hillsborough on a match day ? or past places

since the ground got modernised i have not bothered to buy any food or drinks in the ground over priced

and crap, even the old tea churn full of oxo have been replaced with a pre pack bovril

top 3 for me are

Beres for a Pork Sandwich any or lily"s all about the same

The Chinese chip shop on from the KOP just pass the owls shop night matches especially

then Rubys cafe for a good ole greasy spoon breakfast and mug of tea especially for the early kick off games

Opposite the B&M store bottom Dykes Hall Rd

There's this great place called Kentucky Fried Chicken.

It's a few minutes away from the Lepping Lanes end.

Think they are new on the scene.

The chicken is to die for, what with the secret blend of 11 herbs and spices (I reckon one of them is salt).

Get yourself a "family bucket" and you'll be full to the brim with protein, carbs and saturated fat.

Java Lounge, Hillsborough Corner.

20% discount with match ticket................

I know the owner !

It's only natural that if a softie buys a cafe that all the other big softies will gravitate towards it 😁.
