Jeffjohnsonmyhero
If your not happy just dont go to the games pal. No1 is forcing you. Have been going too long ,I can accept no promotion ,Even though the price increases will force some fans to miss games ,But the owner should have said nothing WHAT EVER IT TAKES ,Progress all i am after ,The 2 players we have signed look alright ,Melo and Bus could be good for us ,If we finish mid table or above playing entertaining football i will be more than happy. joelswfc
I can't make any sense of this, but we're linked to Norwegian international Ruben Jenssen here. On Twitter - TM Gerüchte â€@TMgeruechte 8 mins8 minutes ago Ruben Jenssen zu Sheffield Wednesday? http://tinyurl.com/pkg7pbp #swfc #jenssen View translation http://www.nrk.no/troms/aktuell-for-engelsk-klubb-1.12438937 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruben_Ytterg%C3%A5rd_Jenssen Translation says that the player worked with Jonathan Hill (on our committee) at Tromso and has confirmed the interest. joelswfc
Jenssen has played over 30 times for Norway and captained his club side in a Norweigan cup final. Seems decent going by wiki!

We never sign any of those!
JC3
That can't be right, he's a defensive midfielder. We never sign any of those! He's a winger who has moved into a more central role apparently so surely means he's more attacking?
southportdc
Used to be a winger. Changing positions so rubbish.

joelswfc
I can see why we want at least 1 more defensive midfielder. We know Semedo is not top end championship quality and is now on the slide. Hutchinson is a total liability and defensive midfield isn't necessarily his best position. We have not seen enough of Melo to make a proper judgement, although he does seem good enough. It is likely that CC will what to okay with 2,maybe even 3, defensive minded midfielders so another one would be useful.
Plonk
2.5 million for munster and wood? Farkin mental! Would you really want us spending that sort of cash on that level of player? Let's just see where MrC spends HIS cash before we start going green eyed?
StudentOwl
He's a winger who has moved into a more central role apparently so surely means he's more attacking? -He's averaged one assist every 8 games over his entire career and has managed 4 first-team goals, doesn't seem very attacking to me. -Transfermarkt says he's primarily a centre midfielder with secondary roles wide left (not a winger, just wide left) and attacking midfielder. -Football Manager gives him as a versatile midfielder capable of playing in defensive and attacking roles both central and wide, but most comfortable as a CM or DM. -FIFA says a CM I know trusting games is like clutching at straws, but coupled with the data on his goals and assists, as well as what transfermarkt has to say about his positioning- he seems like a central midfielder. I'll concede probably not a traditional defensive midfielder, but no Kieran Lee or McGugan. Food for thought, Kieran Lee scored more goals last season than this guy has done over his entire career, and his assist rate of 1 in every 8 games is pretty poor too. (Please note, not saying he isn't good- i'd imagine he's significantly better than most of our current midfield options, but a winger or attacking midfielder he is not!) roaminowl
way before my time that pal. Unlucky, those were heady days indeed. Owlstalk was even more unbearable the year we narrowly avoided relegation to the 4th division.
