No, most backtracked themselves into a corner and have gone quiet since. Think it went something like "I never said he should go, I said that it was right that his performance should come under scrutiny" (as he struggled with an under-strength squad, prior to the arrival of Drenthe and McGugan) Apparently, our demise at that time was down to Gray failing to get the most out of what he had at his disposal and nothing at all to do with Gray being left exposed with not a lot to work with. He isn't getting the best out of the squad because is is playing not to lose. Now the tide has turned we will neither win or keep a clean sheet. We established that when Gray started to regain his miracle worker status, demonstrating how wonderfully well Milan had masterminded our latent promotion push. In fact, I recall thinking last night, as Nuhiu powered home the 1-0 winner against Wigan, what a brilliant job Milan was doing. As some said earlier, fully justifies his prudency.
