Spookone
I agree, we are looking stronger and more importantly have a better manager (sorry head coach) to start the season off. Was it Mick the Owl on FH last night saying we were relegation fodder - I don't think so even without any new players. We do need a few additions though and May could be the player to help change our fortunes around, especially if we do manage to bag (ooo matron) Ben 10. UTO can't wait for it to all kick off now! royalowlisback
For me of the probably starting line up v Brighton Mattock, Maghoma and Nuhiu are not Championship standard. Coke as well if he starts. Would say Semedo is just about Championship standard but only just. Will make my opinion on Lees once I have seen him a few times. So exactly the same as what I said then? Minton
So, how do the starting team last year compare to this year? I know which one I prefer before everyone writes them off and starts slitting their wrists. Last year vs QPR Kirkland Palmer Gardner Zayatte Mattock Antonio Prutton Coke Helan JJ Nuhiu This year potentially vs Brighton Kirkland Palmer Loovens Lees Mattock Maguire Hutchinson Lee Coke Maghoma Nuhiu More likey to be: Westwood Palmer Loovens Lees Mattock Maguire Lee Magic Hutch Maghoma Nooyoo BUT with signings, could be: Westwood Palmer Loovens Lees Mattock Maguire Lee Hutch Marshall May Nooyoo Maybe Tard in there too. That is easily a top half squad, just maybe short on a bench striker, but once Lavery is back fit we'll have some decent cover too. Bring on the season! markg
Honestly don't think that there is much between the two sides. I'd say that this seasons is marginally better

nickswfc
Is it better? I'd rate Gardener slightly above Loovens. Nothing to suggest Lees is better than Zayatte. Antonio v Maguire - right now we'd rate Maguire but perspectives change v quickly and historically Antonio has generally been better regarded. Hutch / Lee - better than Prutton. Maghoma still not shown enough for me and this time last year JJ was coming off a fantastic end to 12/13. Overall I'd say its pretty similar
LiamK2292
It's arguably better but I still think we're in for another season for struggle.
Plonk
Well I think the first team is definately stronger now. We have a better manager a better spirit amongst the players but we are royally fooked as soon as we get one or two injuries as the end of last season showed
Nookiebear
We're F*CKING miles better than last season.

Night King
That back 4 looks weak, no creativity or goals in central midfield midfield, no pace anywhere and a donkey as a center forward. 2 decent keepers though!
Geörge Whitebread
Would Prefer: Westwood Palmer Lees Loovens Helan Lee Hutch Somedo Maguire Nuhui Park the bus!

nickswfc
We're F*CKING miles better than last season. All about perspectives though isn't it. As mentioned this time last year JJ was coming off his best end of season ever, there was real hype around Antonio and Helan and Zayatte had a decent pre-season. Even Prutton and Coke had just signed new contracts and we were grateful for the fact they'd pretty much saved our awful midfield the year before (Semedo included who we now love again - again, perspective). The obvious standouts this time round are Lee and Hutchinson. But other than them I fail to see any improvement.
Worksop Wednesday
I would seriously rather play with 10 than play Coke At least then it would be an honest declaration to all that we are a man down from the start Giles Coke... is a joke ... of a footballer
