JoshTheOwl
What about the people who died 2 years ago? Are they now forgotten?
McRightSide
Sheffield is a big place, and a lot of Owls will die each year. If this was to be adopted, probably better to remember at the end of a season? Some kind of memorial book, but nothing over the top. Yup. Something like a minutes applause would be nice

SWFC cannot "remember" every fan that passes was my meaning. It's not possible.
dunsbyowl
I think a minutes applause for John Fantham would be in order.

Captain Sl-OWL-ly
I think a minutes applause for John Fantham would be in order. I'd agree with that and couldn't understand how any true Wednesday supporter could object, he was a real Wednesday legend.
Captain Sl-OWL-ly
Unless it's for someone special like JF we have a remembrance day on the 11th November, surely it's not just for service men & women but for anyone who has lost someone...
abrodie2002
I think fanthom needs a one minutes applause first game but I do like the sentiment!
Road Runner
In that case lets have a 90 minute prayer meeting. We been doing that every match for the past few seasons. We need change...

acquiescefc
sorry but for Fantham yes, for everybody else its meaningless. Send 1000 emails, ok great and who is going to spend time sifting thru these emails and reading them all? If you feel so strongly set up an online petition and invite ppl to 'sign'. Youll find that you'll get a bout 20 signatures, maybe add a zero if its in relation to Fantham. Great gesture, but like others have said we could be doing it every week for 'an owl that died'. Send it in as a programme mention. What next, traffic updates at half time cos it gets a bit busy after the game?
sharrowowl
Terrible, people turn every death into a bloody pantomime nowadays. Lets have some real respect getting more like drama ridden America every day. This.
