The difference as I see it is at Leeds, the bloke funded the club up to £10 million while this process was taking place Sure they needed the money to ward off the threat of administration but he didn't have to do that It was a statement of intent, which maybe influenced the appeal, I don't know. In the end the decision was probably reversed on a technicality, with the League not prepared to go to court over it

That really had nothing to do with it at all.

A fit and proper persons teat has nothing to do with money or "intent".

In a serious attempt at straw clutching here. Maybe the announcement will be from the FL that Mamas passed their very stringent test? What is starting to worry me slightly is the continued silence (and apparent lack of cash forthcoming) from Mama or his team

What is the criteria for judging whether a person is a fit and proper person to run a football club? The Football League cannot be judge and jury if the person has never been found guilty of any offence. What powers do they have for example, if they suspect a person has acquired their fortune through slightly dubious means and yet those dealings have been sanctioned by the authorities of another state.

dont think the fit and proper test is a moral one tbh. didnt the west ham boss make his money through muck, carson yeung s was through money laundering it seems, and yet both passed with flying colours.

Looking on the football league web-site it tells you what they are looking for. It doesn't seem to matter how you made your money as long as you haven't been done for financial crimes or sporting crimes?

So as far as the fit and proper person test goes, we have nothing to worry about. If that's the case, and HM owns the club, why has everything gone on hold. As I said earlier, the Leeds guy invested £10 million while the process was ongoing, and he couldn't have been as confident in the outcome

But there doesn't appear to be any risk

Milan keeps referring to him as "a proper person", so maybe he's just doing things in such a way. Yes Celine threw money into Leeds prematurely - but he's a total nut job.
