clud17
They played simple football today, that was the big difference. Clean properly weighted passes most of the time to a player who had moved into some space. When they didn't have the ball they closed our players down well enough. We should take a lesson from them today.
Jowl
Pass and move. And being patient and keeping the ball. We just lumped aimlessly to the useless Sidibe or ineffective o Grady.
JoshTheOwl
Basically they weren't scared of keeping the ball. Where as we just lumped it forward as soon as we had it.

Their passes were very well executed I remember watching them pass the ball about and every one of them had the right weight on it - good solid passing straight to feet Lafferty had a right game too - although he had as much time and space as he wanted down the left hand side Owlstalk Shop
asteener1867
Me grandad could pass the ball to and fro to me fookin' Grandma against sodding anybody...if no-one was interested in tackling either of the fookers..
TheEnchanter
Yep they played simple passes, were composed and happy to keep the ball and frustrate our fans. They played some good diagonal passes and caused us problems. Its no coincidence they are 4 points off the play offs and we are 3rd bottom. Chriss
Definitely. Frustrating that we couldn't even string a pass together. They closed us down and shut us down so much, the only option available sometimes was flipping hoof ball.

bradowl
Compared to most other Championship sides I thought Burnley were very average. Big problem today was that we were very poor.
