Same can be said about Bothroyd. Some were also screaming for Batth a few weeks ago. I don't think he'd have made all that much difference. No amount of flags will cover the up the public singling out of Liera when "his players" Tayor & Mattock were never mentioned re defensive errors. No amount of balloons will hide the fact that Dave Jones bought badly in the summer. We needed quality not quantity - 15+ signings No one has yet been able to give me an answer to the question: Apart from Chris Kirkland name a single Dave Jones signing who has significantly improved the side? Seriously Kirkland only ? For starts he has NOT significantly improved the side - Bywater would be capable to do a good job and has balls!. Next - McCabe - Significantly Improved on Lines. Next - Barkley - As Above Next - Antonio - Improvement on who - cos if we didn't have him on the wing it would be Prutton Next - Garnder - Our best central defender Next - Bothroyd - Much better "striker" than Madine/Lowe/COG Next - Corry - As Per Lines Judge the rest in due course but its more than just the 1 less significant signing you state!
