EcclesallOwl
Ha. We wouldn't have been that bad in the first half had Lines been playing. and we wouldn't if Coke had been playing. When he came on and settled the problems stopped coming through the middle and then allowed us to exploit the flanks Anyone who knows a bit about football knows he played well tonight
eckington owl
COG and Coke changed the game. Along with Picnic pulling his finger out.
RUMBELOWS91
Round peg, round hole. Pecnik isn't a central midfielder, Coke is. Coke did reasonably well with the ball but more importantly put himself in the right areas when we didn't have it. You don't have to be an outstanding player in Thr centre of the park to be effective against a L1 side - look at Darren Potter!
SiJ
Anyone who knows a bit about football knows he played well tonight And anyone who thinks that Lines wouldn't have made a difference knows jack sh*t.
Guest jimbob
He was quality today. His tracking back was exactly what was missing for their goals. Given DJ something to think about. Well done Giles.
Bluesteel
Did alright sitting deeper and doing what he was told for a change. But if this was an "I told you so" thread, then I'd answer that with Chris O'Grady, well then...

lesbarbeux
He didn't actually do much, but as was said earlier, round peg in round hole and allowed Pecnik to show some of his class.........with a class CM which it is so obvious that we need, this really has the makings of a decent side. Spondon Owl
Unassuming display from an underrated player imo... I'm with Eccie on this one, he has been left out in the cold a bit too much for my liking. Also on a positive, once Pecnik gets up to speed he could definitely be a player. Beholder
I thought he did well but then i never thought he was crap in the first place. I felt he was a bit too eager to impress and couldv'e relaxed a bit but you can hardly blame him for that after what Megson put him through. Owl In Black
Pecnik looked good once we moved him forward. Coke did ok - looked comfy on the ball, and moved it well on counter. Travked back where needed
Guest TonyOwl88
Not saying he did crap but what did he do tonight????? Played CM... passed the ball a few times... helped it on... didn't see him lose posession. He wasn't a stand-out performer, he just plays CM better than Picnic. Its the old round pegs in round holes trick. Did well.

Travked back where needed I actually remember him tracking a man from midfield and just intercepting at the right moment with a cheeky Cruyff turn.... very good. Good enough week in week out for the Championship; let's see.
Guest Fedor
The ball seemed like a hot potato with Coke tonight but think he should start Saturday.
Jowl
Gave us shape and allowed Picnic to move into a much more suitable role. Lots of lessons for DJ and the team tonight - a big positive that. I'd be worried about Reda on this showing though.
torryowl
He kept the shape and allowed semedo to do what he does best and made himself available for the ball. If his attitude is right he's an assett in any division. i'm sorry mate but he aint a good enough player to have an attitude .if we are going to be dependent on cokes attitude on any given day then we are in big trouble................whats" he kept the shape" mean? theowlsman
If he knuckles down and puts the effort in, there's every chance he could come good for us. I wish him luck.
