theowlsman
Looks nothing like Ivan Klasnic. Well, the joke worked for FG!
TrickyTrev
Not good enough to make Huddersfield's side during the run in but good enough for us. Forgive me if I'm a little underwhelmed by this signing if it's true.
Last_Great_Hope
Hope this isn't true. Why would we want some Huddersfield reject? Well, Huddersfield wanted him (they offered him a contract), the fans wanted him to stay....BUT Roberts refused to sign. So he's less a Huddersfield reject, more that Huddersfield is a Roberts reject.
SPQR-10
reject? If Huddersfield have released him why the hell are we interested? Uninspiring signing if you ask me Edited June 1, 2012 by didz
3mps
If Huddersfield have released him why the hell are we interested? Uninspiring signing I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but i thought he didn't want to re-sign for them.
Last_Great_Hope
If Huddersfield have released him why the hell are we interested? Uninspiring signing if you ask me Hudds didn't release him - his contract ran out an he refused to sign a new one. There is a subtle, but distinct, difference between the two. Forgive me if I'm a little underwhelmed by this signing if it's true. Potential flip side to this is that wasn't Roberts a big influence in the 4-4 game at Hillsborough. Seem to remember him being the best Huddersfield player on the pitch other than Rhodes.

Seem to remember him being the best Huddersfield player on the pitch other than Rhodes. Yes can't argue with that but that's one game. Why has he been dropped from the side throughout the run though? He didn't even make the bench in the semi final, could it be that performances like the one at Hillsborough are too few and far between perhaps? I'm not a Huddersfield so I couldn't say but something's caused him to be dropped by a league 1 side that finished below us. We are already trying to get one inconsistent winger (JJ) to sign a contract at the club, do we really need another?
