As I recall, he came to us with a fantastic scoring record but couldn't reproduce the same type of form in front of goal fo us. Not uncommon over past years to be fair. Not often played as as out and out striker though as I recall - which was somewhat surprising considering his good goalscoring record previously. Was it Pleat he played under mostly?
