Sheffield Wednesday 'in discussions' over big ticket boost for huge West Brom fixture

Recommended Posts

Could be about to see our biggest crowd of the season?

"Wednesday sold out the three sides of their Hillsborough stadium on Monday afternoon after demand for tickets went through the roof following their big win over Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.

The club are hoping to release more tickets, however, as they look into the possibility of opening up the lower tier of the Leppings Lane end to home supporters, and say that an update will be provided ‘in due course’."

Surprised WBA weren’t given both the Upper and Lower tiers, but, if we can fill it with home fans, that’s preferable obviously !

Having 7,300 away fans doesn't always work in the home sides favour .....as Blackburn can testify !

Makes no sense to give away teams the bottom tier when we'll fill it ourselves, the same will happen if we stay up and play the pigs

put the away fans in the grandstand

The shared lifts and staircases up from the ground floor level to first level of South stand ....on the way up to top grandstand level  ....would  make it interesting entrance and exit from that stand don't you think ?
