Numbers don’t make sense.. if that’s the percentage that go in then those other keepers are even worse than Wildsmith. I suspect they mean it’s the percentage saved, so he only saves 6/10 and 4/10 go in

Nope. But it hould be the same for everyone if you’re going to b@llock a teammate.

That said I don’t condone what he said to a young player down on confidence after being beaten by what was a deflection.

Perhaps he does?

Wildsmith is 25 by the way

If Bannan tried to volley the ball in Wildsmiths face he would more than likely miss. But Wildsmith could maybe show Bannan how to take a free kick, a corner, show him how to tackle or put a block in instead of constantly turning his back.

SWFC are currently joint 14th for set piece goals this season.

Not bad considering we are the 23rd best team in the division, have less attacking possession than most and so probably win less attacking set pieces than most. But yeah, we don't score from most of his corners so they must be terrible.

We certainly don't score from most of his penalties so they must be terrible. £27000 a week which is probably more than the majority of our fans earn in a year. One job Barry and he couldn't do that.

Plenty of players miss penalties. You see it as a foregone conclusion.

It's strange to see you almost revel in posting about Bannan errors, like it is almost pleasing for you.

It's not pleasing at all. But the wee bully boy is very selective at who he calls out for mistakes and needs to take a long look in the mirror at his own performances which don't justify that eye watering salary he collects.

A brief look at your post history suggests otherwise.

Strange.

I don't rate him. That's my opinion and games like today show why. He rarely scores (even if it's a penalty). His set pieces are poor (even from 12 yards). He is often caught out of position. Offers little when we are out of possession and there are far better players who would be on less money out there. You obviously like him and that's your opinion but the league table doesn't lie and he plays in the key position in a team.

Wildsmith is still a developing player, in a bad team with a bad defence in front of him.

Point is,  Bannan didn’t chew Lees off because Lees would probably have shoved his head where the sun doesn’t shine.

Bannan knew he'd sold Lees short with pass. If its going backwards there it goes straight back to Westwood in acres of space not one 10 yards to one footed Lees under pressure from a quick forward.

It's ok. We're getting relegated to the third tier but 'Sky' say that Barry Bannan is excellent, so it doesn't matter.

Nobody has said that it is OK that we are getting relegated have they?

You have said yourself today that he is our best player yet he is the one many seem quick to turn on. Perhaps the dwindling quality around him is more to blame for our impending relegation than he is.

Also universally acknowledged that Rhodes is the most prolific striker at this level and only needs half a chance, but we bench him and criticise when he misses a chance.

I'm glad SKY don't know about Iorfa, just hope other clubs scouts are not aware too.
