How long would it take to have some isotonic drinks packaged in Elev8 branded bottles, cartons or whatever and on the concourse...? NO MORE THAN 5/6 WEEKS and probably a month if he seriously wanted it doing. (DC... I'll sort this out for you if you want for genuinely modest fees) Just one example of not maximising revenue streams... JUST ONE Even if he did this they would be vastly overpriced and leave a bitter taste in the mouth. No ta

In the meantime, he’d still have to bankroll the club. That’s a big commitment for an asset stripper. Much easier targets than SWFC for asset stripping. In reality, that’s not his game and I think you know it. 1
33
We have everything from groundsmen through to ex players, administrators, finance and legal experts, football & business managers and even football CEOs, business owners, Directors and so on, in our community. All he has ever needed to do is ask for some help. AND THEN LISTEN Wake up Mr Chansiri and start using genuine help rather than people who take advantage. Listen to those that can help... they are out there. Because if you don't you will without a doubt lose at least almost everything.

But our fans do nothing but cry and moan. Everyone knew about the charges when they bought a season ticket and what the possible punishments were. Now the usual suspects are crying for a refund because we won't get promoted next season and we might be down the bottom again. I'm not a Chansiri supporter, I'm a Wednesday supporter and until he sells the club (christ knows how) we're stuck with him. It's too f*cking simple to look at other clubs and say "well look how good they are", for every one of them there are 10 who aren't. Not a single person was criticising him when we were walking down Wembley way, but the moment things don't go our way we're all moaning and blaming him personally for everything. Is it his fault the team fell off a cliff at Christmas? Is it his fault Bruce walked out after being backed a week before the start of the season? amazing how people continue to make excuses for him. The drinks or the help? I think the point is he needs to listen and get help. You are right and he cannot defend ridiculous concourse pricing which he needs to address. But if he did things right he could have pop on the shelf at a £1 a bottle, even £1.50 sell loads and make plenty out of it rather than trying to shaft people for a fanta at £2.50 leaving said bad taste. Look at Tottenham... Yes different stadium type but they have sensible pricing and punters are in very early and spend their pre match time in the ground not at outside pubs n food shops. Apple
The club can be self sufficient unless in the Premier league. Football can't really be self sufficient. In order to survive, we have to endure these owners. The alternative is we're poo anyway. What's the difference? At least we exist. Find another cause. It's boring. big_al1985
He's definitely not an asset stripper and by the sound of his treatment of staff during covid he's an honorable and decent man, but the fact remains we don't own the ground. Any sane businessman who has a loss making trading business and a large valuable asset in a separate company, who didnt want to keep chucking good money after bad, would cut the flow off and try to recoup some via the asset. Admittedly the club is the best and only tenant but other options with such a site exist, and if he doesn't get on with new owners etc.... his heart is in the right place but it's still a worry

Our Chairman should refund all of them NOW. And he should refund everybody who doesn't want to see the crap hand he's dealt us for next season And then he should do us all a favour and leave Absolutely appalled tonight. Yes - refund them all now, if you want the club to pass into history...

It was the year after when we offered pay rises to the failures, bought in every player in the world we didn't need and then broke the camel's back with Jordan Rhodes just a few moments after we'd got Sam Winnall for £500k. The play-off final failure team would have been well within limits. The 2016/17 season was also the right time to cash in on Forestieri. But we didn’t. Many mistakes made in the transfer market that season.. Edited August 2, 2020 by Westfield Owl
