Flooding their box..

For me, if you are looking to flood the box, you need to get in round the back first.

Very rarely can you get in round the back early doors. Hard tackles round the edge of the box soften teams up and leave them susceptible to their defences being penetrated. Once you've opened them up and flooded the box then you can get round the back. A 2 pronged attack usually leads to your goal.

"Fail to prepare"

"Prepare to fail"

Let's not beat about the Bush...

Fulham need a good fingering in the first five to ten minutes ...

Then the floodgates will open .....

The harder it is the better, it makes you bang it harder and harder, get the pitch nice and wet and then slide in longer and easier,

before you know it you will be showered in glory and laying on top of each other fully satisfied and not knowing which are arms or legs as your teams mates then pile on for more

Coming in round the back to flood the box can be a dangerous tactic.

You always run the risk of one member of the team being slapped down.

Good to see someone steering this thread back on track.

When the other one's been left wide open and exposed, then, and only then should we concern ourselves with unloading everything we have into their box.

It's all about the build up play. Plenty of work around the box is needed before you just go rampaging round the back. Their defences will be strong and that can lead to a player being denied or worse, deliberately injured. Patience is the key, you have to slip one in while their attention is elsewhere.

Do we have the stamina to go box to box?  I don't we can keep it up for the whole game.

Come on you blues.

Fulham will be craving for cottaging.

The trouble with players going box to box is it tends to get very messy.

Which ever style we choose to adopt. It's all about the delivery. Long balls or short balls, it shouldn't matter. Find an opportune moment for a gap, and get into the channels.

I hear you..it’s about slotting it in at the right moment. And bam!
