The only way is S6
City are 8/11 to win the league, depsite being 5 points behind Liverpool & running out of centre halves. Very poor odds from the bookies. I backed them at 2/1 last Feb when they were 7 points behind. I know there's a long way to go, so I'll hang on a bit before betting. Hopefully City will drift more. Regarding Everton: They have paid an awful lot of money for players from mid to lower table Premier League clubs and cast offs from bigger sides. Yes, they have some good players, but I think the sheer amount of money they've spent sometimes clouds people's views on how good they actually are. Tbf, Mings was justified. The other guy barely tracked back.

Guest
Best league in the world we are told! The reality is that 2 teams are miles better then the rest, another 5 or 6 are decent but can't get anywhere near the other 2. The rest are scrapping with each other to not get relegated. Man City 5-0 up inside 20 minutes, Liverpool not even close to drawing a game so far. Norwich were great last week but results like that aren't confined to the PL as the commentators would have you believe, Barcelona drew with a newly promoted side a couple of weeks ago. Just had Newcastle-Brighton on in the background, the home side were appalling for 75 minutes.

It's the best league in the world for mercenaries and badge kissers,If/when it goes belly up,and the £££'s dry up it will revert back to what it was. Lamps is probably too young for the Chelsea job, but that doesn't mean he's rubbish. Emery had good pedigree before arriving at Arsenal. As for Ole...rubbish? No, but I don't think he's the answer to Man Us problems.

He’s prevented them from going into free fall like MUFC did after Fergie, but I imagine they will look for someone else in the summer.

Well, what Emery's tenure has highlighted is how good of a of job Wenger did there. They are a poorer side now. It's pretty apparent that the issues with Arsenal run a lot of deeper than the guy stood in the technical area.

Ath Madrid are a better team than all 3 of those and have a chance of competing at the top end of the table, perhaps win La Liga. Simeone is Mister Ath Madrid. I can see him being there for years and years.

Horrifically stupid recruitment, for example. Man U have just been making it up as they go along since Fergie retired. One minute they are trying to sign big names, the next it is all about signing young British players. No doubt they'll change tact again once Ole gets the boot. WalthamOwl
Who would have thought giving Ole the permanent job would have turned out like this. Feel for him but was never the right long term appointment. Desperate for a clear out there. Poison Pogba needs to go ASAP.

Just looks a bit out of his depth...but then to be fair everyone since Fergie left has looked like that, including Mourinho. They just lack quality.
