7 unbeaten

Recommended Posts

4 wins

3 draws

I know i'll get hammered for this but we really can do it and i'm usually quite negative. The play offs are a long shot granted but since Bruce has arrived not only have we started to keep clean sheets but we've found our scoring boots and the likes of Reach & Fletcher have hit form at the right time

Its highly unlikely I know and we need to win most of our remaining matches to stand a chance but why not be positive when things are looking up

Beat the Pigs and we might just do it

And add to that, 7 clean sheets in 12 games. Awesome.

Exactly

And to think just over a month ago we couldn't buy a clean sheet or goal

We've hit form at the right time

Must beat the pigs though otherwise the dream is over

assuming 74 is the target, 27 points needed from 12 games.

8 wins 3 draws and 1 defeat?

9 wins and 3 defeats?

looks even less likely when you type out those scenarios, cant afford many draws and we need some surprise away wins

True, but we're 7 unbeaten, keeping clean sheets and have started to score at the other end and not just plucky 1-0 wins either

Swansea & Brentford are no pushovers and we turned them both over

yep agree, it's this Brentford result that has impressed me more than Swansea, I reckon Brentford should be a top 10 team and we have brushed them aside with minimal fuss

I think the quality of teams we have to face, particularly in April will ultimately be the issue. This League is just so tough and you would be pleased with draws from some of those games.

Monday is not make or break though, it is one game out of the remaining 12.

I don't think the teams above us are going to start loosing many I dont think we can manage it this season but I think the rest of the season is going to be much more enjoyable and roll on next season. :ghoulguy:

When you say 9 wins and 3 defeats it does sounds unlikely

But if you were to say we’d

win the next 1, then lose,

then win the next 3, then lose,

then win the next 3, then lose,

then win the last 2.

It seems a lot more achievable

lol

We basically have to go on a similar run to Burnley did when they got promoted. It can be done

the key “table”:-

Bristol City P33 Pts53

——————————-

Derby P33 Pts51

Brum P34 Pts50

Forest P34 Pts50

Owls P34 Pts47

City have been amazing since they looked awful against us. Maybe blew up last night. We play them at Home.

Derby in free fall. 8 points from last 7 matches. We play them Away.

Forest could be the big threat. The Martin O’ Neill effect.

Our next two fixtures, United And Derby will tell us everything. But with 12 games and 36 points left its anybody’s.

I’m usually pessimistic but now I’m starting to think why not. We play 3 of the 4 mentioned above. To be honest I think Bristol city will fall away now, Derby have been vvank, and forest and Brum are inconsistent. It’s all about momentum at these late stages and we actually have that now.

Even a draw Monday night isint the end of the world.
