Imagine if we had the vision to sign these types of player.

 

£750k and probably on peanuts, a few months of Fletch wages. You can risk doing it with 2 or 3 players a season if you aren't wasteful, can always move them on.

I think this is the way sides will increasingly have to operate going forwards at our level.

Look at Norwich with Maddison too, a £20m player that saved them financially.

Lets say we are only 8 or 9 points off a playoff spot by the time Bruce comes in and say only 4 or 5 by the end of January. then we will probably go all out and try and get there.

Just needs enough loan signing to keep us up this and next season.

The bigger decision is which players to let go in January and which to keep until the summer.

I said in close season and I still stick by Nathan Byrne at Wigan and Knudsen at Ipswich. Better than what we have and wouldn't cost much.
