DuttyTeabags
I reckon we could actually put out a decent side if everyone were fit: Wildbeast Fred Lees JVA Hunt Sammy Reach Forest Bannan Hooper Joao Any from Nuhui, Boyd, Matias, Pelupessy, Lee, Westwood, Pudil to step in from the bench. The above has a bit of pace, bite, guile and power in the right positions

With more non-defenders coming back from injury, I reckon it'll be more like: Wildsmith Hunt Venancio Lees JVA Hutch Bannan Reach FF Hooper Joao Westwood, Pudil, Pelupessy, Clare, Lee, Matias, Nuhiu. Got cover for every posotion on the bench them too. *sigh* Roll on next season!

I agree, but i cant see anyone coming in with any sort of bid for a medium paced, injury prone player who is on in the region of 30 grand a week. Hes a good player, but not the world beater some on here think he is.
davethemagicweasel
A co-worker told me they'd bumped into Lee recently; he rubbished rumours of his retirement when asked and said he was "a few weeks away". Not sure if that's a few weeks from training or playing though.

If it's next season you could probably swap JVA for Penney and I'd switch Reach and FF to have early crossing opps rather than the Carlos 'cutback' which seems to slow things down and make it easier for defenders to get in position

Beholder
If everyone comes back, Reech has to go Lwb. And there would be a selection headache between Hooper Foresteri and Joao. Midfield picks itself: Hutch Bannan and Lee.

joelswfc
Really hope we don’t have to resort to playing Reach wide, especially as a wingback with no cover. The lad can’t tackle. Has to be priority position in the Summer and we can work our whereabouts Reach is best after that.

I was at the game at the weekend, Reach played very well in a "free role" in midfield.
