Just gotta laugh now.

It's like a long running joke on a sit-com.

'Abdi's out injured again!'

Cue the canned laughter and nod to camera from Almen.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Almen Abdi has returned to training with the first team for the first time in a while after picking up an injury in his eye.

Today is the first time Abdi will have trained with his team mates since being ruled out by doctors for having something in his eye.

Jos didn't sound like he was going to rush Abdi back to the first team

Can we have a poll what injury he will get next

Stubbed toe out for two weeks.

Ingrowing toenails out for two weeks.

List a contact lens out for three weeks unable to get appointment.

Got a varuka unable to mix with the other boys out for two weeks

Mum sent a note in that I could not play.

Worst ever signing in my time supporting Wednesday, What a waste of £10 million.

Don't be daft you numpty

Transfermarkt says we signed him for c.£3.2m... but let's be ultra kind and say that transfer fee + signing on fee + agent fees etc. was £5m in total.

To make up the extra £5m needed for combined cost of wages and initial outgoing to be £10m, we'd have needed to have paid him c.£62,500 p/w for the last 18 months (c. 80 weeks) he's been here. And that's me being super kind on the initial fee. Even top-end guesstimates (and that's all they are) would have his wages at half that.

You do realise he didnt even cost half of that. You've literally made that figure up.

He cost £4 million in transfer fees plus a wage of around £40.000 per week over 4 years costs £2 million

each year in wages total cost of Alman Abdi is in excess of £10 million and in three seasons

he has managed to play only one Championship for the full 90 min.

I'm glad you know how much he's getting paid

This numpty  , thanks for that insult,  will show you more respect and not insult you in the same way.

However Alman  Abdi will have cost us in excess of £10 million by the time his contract ends.

To date he has only managed to play one championship match for the full 90 min.

In that case you'll also state how Gary Hooper has cost us £9m?

You'll say Bannan has cost us about £6m? Even though his transfer was free?

Almen Abdi is not on £40,000 a week ffs.

Chansiri said (at the fans forum) our top paid player is on no more than £35,000 a week and its a fairly well known thing that that is Rhodes followed closely by Fletcher.

But youd probably say Rhodes is on £85,000 a week + mileage and a coffee
