To make up the extra £5m needed for combined cost of wages and initial outgoing to be £10m, we'd have needed to have paid him c.£62,500 p/w for the last 18 months (c. 80 weeks) he's been here. In that case you'll also state how Gary Hooper has cost us £9m? You'll say Bannan has cost us about £6m? Even though his transfer was free? Almen Abdi is not on £40,000 a week ffs. Chansiri said (at the fans forum) our top paid player is on no more than £35,000 a week and its a fairly well known thing that that is Rhodes followed closely by Fletcher.
