They’re not trying to tell you how to spend your money, they’re making it easier and more efficient for you (and them) to spend. Less time queuing means more spending. More and more stadiums / venues will go this way. The club is simply improving and keeping with the times. I welcome this cashless technology. I don’t have to worry about taking a wallet full of money. And it’s quicker...don’t have to wait for the bloke infront to count his change. They ARE telling you how to spend your money...They are saying they don't take your "MONEY"......Go into a soddin' shop and spend £3 on yer "Contactless" and they charge 50p..cos of "Contactless" and the admin fee...You can't go into Hillsborough and say..."
