Utah Owl
Let's just do the biz on Saturday and we can worry about the final position later.

If they get to wembley there will be another half empty end like last season. Their supporters dont deserve success. Bit of an arrogant remark that. This is Huddersfield, not Wednesday. Not every club is blessed with the fan base we have, doesn't mean they don't deserve success.
Mr. Tom
As a percentage of the respective populations, it's roughly equivalent to us taking about 1800 isn't it? Not amazing but not that awful really. Edited April 25, 2017 by Mr. Tom
WC1Owl
Also, there are a lot of Wednesday fans in the West Midlands. Probably not many udders fans.
thekimmyowl
I would've thought most working people would find a 2 hour drive away on a work day would be testing is it 2hrs with rush hour traffic ?
Holmowl
Over two and a half weeks for Huddersfield players to rest before the play-off fist leg. They may have limped over the line but they will be in very good shape once the action starts.

What did you say about the Hull fans last year? Half empty . Most clubs in their position would have taken a good 4 figure number. Just because Hudders havnt lost for 600 odd games did they think it was a foregone conclusion or was it that they didnt think they would win? Re your last sentence. Do you think they will deserve success against us if we meet in the playoffs. Because you're implying that because Huddersfield aren't a big club that they don't deserve success. In reality their support could be just as hardcore as ours. As for the last question, If they win their play off games why shouldn't they have deserved to go up? Isn't the whole point of a league system to determine who the best sides are over a season?
oh_weds_we_love_you
Shame Wolves were on holiday mode last night, would have liked to have seen Huddersfield remain behind us going into this weekend. Expecting Huddersfield to rest a few now for the remaining games, which should benefit them. Hope we can do the job this weekend too so we can rest legs vs Fulham! Reckon they secured safety last weekend if I remember rightly? Might explain their nonchalance.
LoOkOut
Wow just 682 fans made the trip for a massive game for them not on tv or owt.

Think so mate. Thought with some of their players under-performing this season and a new manager that they would want to finish on a high - clearly not! Nonchalant or not, they still only lost 1-0, and hit the post. Incidentally, they're now level on points with Ipswich - we really can't take anything for granted on Saturday. We could have done with Huddersfield losing last night - I'd say they're now more likely to lose to Birmingham, which would mean Wigan being relegated by the time they face Leeds. As amusing as it would be to see Leeds failing to make the play-offs by failing to beat a side already down, that's not something we want to be relying on should things go wrong in our own games. Odds well on that Wigan will be relegated this weekend regardless - they won't beat Reading away - so think Leeds will be playing an already relegated side any way. At least the pressure will be off Wigan and anything can happen - think we beat Burnley 7-2 away after we'd been relegated!!

And Leicester 4-0 after getting relegated from the Premier League too.

Huddersfield have been getting over 20,000 for most home games this season I'd say 682 is really poor for such an important game.
