matthefish2002
I agree Wednesday fans now are more impatient then ever for success. Prices are now higher then they have ever been. I don't think the two are unrelated. .

Spookone
Has someone really suggested Bullen / Rhodes sr? Sometimes I really do worry about some peoples opinions when it comes to our club - why on earth would we consider that?

daveyboy66
Is this the same Carlos who is on target to have a 13 + home wins for the second time in a row since Catterick's time as manager...no wonder people want him out

Think he won another title after that.... .....not too shabby... I bow to your superior knowledge Sir.I was only a nipper at the time. Also didn't realise he was still manager in '66 when I was just old enough but too skint to go to Wembley. My main point though was that he was 10% ahead of Megson and Carvallal in terms of his win rate.
Swiss Toni
Can't believe the OP compared him to a Ranieri. The guy who in reality has only one excellent season in football on his CV. Football fans are easily swept along by brief euphoria.
Swiss Toni
Legs on might have a good win ratio with us but he was managing us in League One which is hardly comparable to those who managed us in the PL and the competitive Championship.

Catterick managed Everton until 73 AND did have several successful seasons. The fact he had been an Everton player must have influenced his decision to move on. Apart from the money of course. Part of the problem I have with this issue is who is making the decisions about our signings. There appears to be an assumption that CC makes all these decisions and on his own. I'm not sure who the decision maker is at our club. Can anyone enlighten me? Edited March 29, 2017 by Wakefield owl

Play national league v Borehamwood, we got another potential Ranieri running our club and a chairman who knows the score so L. O. C.
