Groundhopping Owl
Absolutely vital win, so chuffed with that. Credit to Blackburn, thought that was one of the better opposition performances at Hillsborough this season. The march to Wembley and the premier league continues.... S36 OWL
Well , what a game of two halves. First half was dire, second a lot better. we got the job done without being brilliant , but 3 pts is all that matters right now. Only just found out the other results once i got back from Hillsbro. The five pts gap to Cardiff is effectively six pts with the goal difference.

themaskedowl
GET RIGHT IN THERE YOU SUPER SEXY OWLS. We are going up, say we are going up!! I'm getting that sense of undeniable inevitability again. The positivity is positively oozing from our squad and we have without a doubt the sexiest manager in the league. NEXT!
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Just got home...to Nottingham! The M1 was not fun tonight. Not a vintage performance, but a vital three points. Well done, Wednesday.
pgmetcalf
Thought we were a bit lucky last night, but it's about time we had some luck. Wallace's first goal was a sheer fluke, he actually tried to cross it on the floor and it deflected up over the keeper. His second was good goal though, all made by Forrestieri. What was Hunt thinking for their goal? Should always move towards the ball, rather than stand there waiting for it to arrive. Also, we had bad player positioning waiting for the second ball or knock down; if we have an attacking corner we need three players 10 yards outside the box either to keep the pressure on or have a shot. Still, a win's a win though. Will need to address these two basic points if we're to have a good crack at the playoffs.

goh
Im not convinced by the "Blackburn being good" points being made - thought they were poor and their goal was down to us being half a sleep. We didn't take a hatful of chances to properly test the keeper first half and if we had done we could easily have gone i a couple of goals up. But it is the sign of our improvement. In past seasons we would have ground out a 1-1 draw at best against ten men. Instead we took quick control and then strangled the game. And next time Hooper - SHOOT!
