SiJ
Kicking downhill we would still get done on the counter attackPretty sure that's what Ipswich did last season.
ViolaOwls
The slope is not and cannot be removed. Just look at the structure of the stands to see this. I have played on Hillsborough too, and a 1.5 metre drop over the length of the pitch is not a slope, nor do you notice this

I have played on Hillsborough too, and a 1.5 metre drop over the length of the pitch is not a slope, nor do you notice this I'd 7 metres over the course of the pitch, isn't it? Only played at Hillsborough once, but found attacking towards the Leppings Lane end much more of a challenge than towards the Kop end.
mogbad
The slope is not and cannot be removed. Just look at the structure of the stands to see this. I have played on Hillsborough too, and a 1.5 metre drop over the length of the pitch is not a slope, nor do you notice this The slope could be removed if the pitch was banked towards the kop end. The main issue would be the view for spectators in the front rows of the kop. North & south stands are built on the level so I wouldn't have thought front row views would be as much of an issue. ViolaOwls
its 1.5 metre slope. View a picture of the northstand from west stand to kop end and you can see the slope quite evidently. 7 metres is miles out.
