First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

is a famous statement and provocative poem attributed to pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) about the cowardice of German intellectuals following the Nazis' rise to power

We could always discuss the player? I wonder if there's any substance to it?

This is the best post in this thread !

Can't get my breath with Owlstalk these day, seems like every thread ends up being controvertial/racial/sexist/homophobic/moronic.

But...hey if it's none of the above we can always slag the players to F*** instead.

Sheffield United are in advanced talks with midfielder Houssine Kharja.

The Blades have offered Kharja a one-year deal, reports TMW.

The former Genoa and Fiorentina midfielder is close to agreeing terms with the Blades after becoming available from Al Arabi.

Now 31, Kharja hopes for a year in England before pursuing a money-spinning move to the UAE.
