apswfcowl
Apologies if discussed elsewhere but what was that all about at HT? Wonder what the impossible challenge will be next time?
ReginaldD
That was a crazy game tonight, most of the pro's would have struggled to get one in the bin. What next, crossbar challenge from the halfway line? Didn't see the need to change from the game which was played last year. It was more entertaining than the two offerings so far this year and at least the people participating had a chance.
Kanye West
Absolute stupid challenge, I know it's meant to be fun etc but that one was absolutely pointless You can have 50 attempts at that and be lucky if one goes in. Half time challenge created around a blue bin too, talk about tinpot

Wouldn't be surprised to see them revert it and just stick the bin there as a 'bonus' point system. Keep entertainment, keep sponsorship, makes it possible to actually do

But like you suggest revert back to the old game and when the fan has had their go at shooting from the halfway line they then have a penalty with the objective of getting the ball in the bin and it doesn't matter if it goes in or not. Or they could just not use a bin at all Edited August 19, 2014 by ReginaldD

kevtheowl
I think the Idea was to chip the balls into the bin, not float them in like you were taking a flippingcorner. UTO
Lord Snooty
The last chap had the right idea when he just leathered the ball in the goal at the Kop end for the cheer.
vulva
I'm convinced the shambolic half time entertainment provided over the last few years has been a deliberate tactic to try and force people onto the concourses to buy produce.
mrgund
I think the best 'tactic' would have been to try and scoop the ball up into the air instead of putting foot through it. Even then someone like Ronaldo might have got one in fifty in if he was lucky. Next game I heard they will be shooting into the bin from on top of south stand. crookesowl
They should have a blue bin surrounded by white bins. Centre bin worth 50 points outer bins worth 10 points. Or something. I like the fact it is impossible though. It will make the moment someone DOES get it in the bin extra special.

Musn't Grumble
Next week's variation.... Place a football on the goal line, line up ten bins on the "D". The first player to kick the bin over the ball wins.

Guest Deleted member
My HT entertainment on the Kop. Wait for the half time whistle, and try to make it to the toilet, and then buy a coffee, before the whistle goes for the second half. never managed it yet...
