Guest
Sold chalobah and vydra? Wasn't they both just on loan at Watford? Yep Vydra has his own "Missing" poster along with Anelka and Rosenberg
sharrowowl
Zola seems too soft to be a good manager. Isnt his success largely due to easy loans from udinese? Just because he was a good player doesnt make him a good manager. Would rather have gray.
Mountain Owl
Believes in playing attacking football does Zola. I would take him, seen enough negative football from Wednesday over the last 15 months to last a lifetime.

You still need to get the players playing and he did, look at them at Hillsboro' last season, his first season he led Watford to 3rd in the table and only lost to Palace after extra time, this came after they only needed to beat Leeds on the final day to go up. Woodseats Owl
I wish Carbone and Zola were both 15 years younger, and playing for SWFC.

True - i'm probably been unfair think I'm beginning to think all managers are the same. Do well for a bit then hit a bad run and invariably get booted. I'm sure Scram will have more insight into Watford but in my opinion Vydra and the Injured Abdi were the players for me that got them ticking with Forestieri and Deeney getting in on the scene - great side thay had last season just very unlucky in the end. Say's a lot about Zola who could have waited for a pay off but choose to resign though.
Bannofan
Why the hell do we need a loud nasty b@stard? I would love Zola to be our manager.

daveyboy66
The only way we could have Zola is if we had owners that were looking at a long term plan for the club
theowlsman
I read in one of the more intellectual football publications that Zola became a fan of English football after following the fortunes of Di Canio and Carbone at Sheffield Wednesday. He was a little fan of ours.
Bluesteel
Doesnt it just show how much of a lottery the job of being a manager actually is?
