Young girl at the tills at halftime gave a Wednesday fan wrong change - she was probably 16/17' he was probably mid 30s...

She apologised and gave him the right change but not before he shouted at her, called her a f***ing stupid c*** and said she needed a good f***ing over

She was on the verge of tears as he walked away with his correct change and beer - probably feeling really proud of himself for not taking any cr ap

He probably posts on here.

Seriously.

Yeah, it was extremely poor.

We completely switched off and gave them a goal.

The more worrying thing was that they never learned their lesson and continued to get caught out on every short corner.

surely after being caught out you prepare yourself for a short corner but obviously not.

The only stain on what wasn't a bad defensive performance.

And that was Mattocks fault an all.

On the subject of the "fan" who abused the girl working at the bar.  Had another fan took him to task over his behaviour what do you think the result would have been?  Would not have ended well I reckon.

Would have been better handled had the stewards ejected him from the stadium.  The member of staff should have requested that had the stewards not seen the incident.

He was older than that mate.

Disgusting how he spoke to her. Poor lass.

I just don't get our fans at times.

Mattock looked like he was enjoying the game and had played well upto the bad challenge that forced him off.Thought all we lacked was a ball player in the middle of the park and that vital cool head in front of goal (Lita ?).Overall there was much to be pleased about and build on.

We lost our shape when Mattock went off. We had a really daft 10 minutes.

I thought overall it was a decent performance away from home against a team who will win a lot more than they lose.

A lot of positives to come out of it.

Cause & effect, although he was injured, therefore not his own fault.

I wondered whether Mattock might struggle against QPR. The irony is, he was playing pretty well before the injury. The lad must be cursing his luck having finally got his chance in the side in Reda's absence.
