You can tell why Sunderland forked out £8M for him, his first touch, strength and the ability to find space was there for all to see. He'll definitely stick some goals in for us, him and Lita up top cost their parent clubs a respective £11M between them. Beholder Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Not bashing Madine because I like him and people should remember that he is still a young player but If Madine was watching Wickham today, he needs to beg Jones to let him go on loan. He isn't going to get on the pitch whilst Wickham is here - he is different class. true. He is just like a better version of Madine. Stronger with better touch and composure. Guest Bigals Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 He was very impressive We were just saying that we needed a big guy uo front (Derby were winning everything easily) when Jones brought him on. He changed the game. All of a sudden their defence looked dodgy and Antonio and Lita were getting the ball. Lita is also very impressive. With regards to Keiran Lee, he's performed really well when in the side and shouldn't be dropped but we played well when he was replaced by Wickham himself.
