owlZfan84
Sorry if pope's 6ft under...I don't think I've EVER heard a player speak like this about the club/fans etc before? http://www.teamtalk.com/championship/8348876/Gary-Madine-wants-to-stay-at-Sheffield-Wednesday-for-rest-of-his-career
lanzaroteowl
Always nice to hear a footballer appreciate what a good gig he has got.
big moz
If the penny is dropping about how lucky footballers are at SWFC, that can only be good. If selected - what we want in return, Gary, is putting in a shift like COG does. The Goal Machine is the best finisher we have on the books when confidence levels are high and relatively young so will improve, but he needs to work defenders harder. Guest wilyfox
Encouraging words, but not matched by his performances. He can be as good as he wants to be, but he's not in the form he was; and the petty off the field offences need to stop. He's not a teenager anymore. Time to mature a little. Guest Stereophonics
Nice to hear. Maybe the fans can really get behind him now, I think that he will score goals at this level. He was unlucky against Bristol the other week, his goal that was ruled out due to Llera was a smart finish.

Guest AlwaysNextYear
So you all buy this stuff? It's so easy for players to flatter fans with praise - 'you're the best ever, the loudest, the strongest, the most handsome'. The lad does not give his all for the club. If he *really* cared about the fans then he would. But does he train his hardest? Try his best? Does he even turn up on time all the time? No. So thanks for the comments Gary, but try doing the talking with your feet.

rob_owl_92
Listening to this it sounds like he knows he has to get his head down and work not just on the pitch but off it too http://audioboo.fm/boos/1124512-swfc-striker-gary-madine
BIG D
There's something I like about Madine. I'm convinced he'll come good if he just knuckles down a bit (not in Viper Rooms though) Lawrie Madden will be along in a minute to call him 'Washing Machine', a thrower and say that he needs a slap. SWFC_Liam
If we give him the service he'll score goals, we've seen that. Nice to hear him saying that, hope he keeps up his attitude and stays out of trouble.
Guest AlwaysNextYear
Are you kidding me (paddyowl)? You reckon Gary Madine trains his hardest? You reckon he does what he's told? You reckon he's never faked or exaggerated claims of an injury so he can skive off? Fair enough if you rate the guy, but his character is definitely questionable.
