Guest Wilf Marshall
I don't really know that much about them but why is it they seem to be doing well? Do they play a particular way? Did the players they signed gel?
Guest RAMPANT OTTER83
Quite simply kept majority of a well organised defence and signed quality attacking players like Adam hammil, beckford, Vaughn and Chris wood all from the £8 million they recieved from the Rhodes fee. Guest Distraught!
A footbal season is not a sort ride. All three teams that were promoted from League One will have their good and bad spells. Huddersfield will have their bad run at some point.
heppers
They have a very wealthy chairman who is not too concerned about balancing the books so they can pay high wages. They hsd £8m to spend from sale of Rhodes and signed to good proven Championship players. We spent the summer in the jumble sale trying to find free transfers or bargain basement transfers. The loan signings have not paid off. Peanuts and monkeys come to mind. But that is not the players fault and it is not DJ's fault. Paul Aldridge is doing the job he is being paid to do so fair play. Milan saved us and got us promoted. That is good but do not think for one minute that is for our benefit. He has seen an opportunity and has taken it. He is looking for a quick turnaround on a small investment and at this stage it is not working.
Zeus
They have a chairman who's also a fan in Dean Hoyle so he was willing to spend a bit in the summer, they then got a large amount from the sale of Rhodes, they could then spend even more on players allowing them to bring a lot in and of fairly high quality

edinburghowl
They've signed well and have a good manager for starters, but this league really isn't as strong as a lot of people are making out. And Huddersfield certainly aren't miles ahead of us on the pitch. Just about every squad has weaknesses in it in this division (just like ours has) and we also have players that can hurt teams in this division. Huddersfield have been clinical whereas we have not and the results we have had have often been down to very fine margins. If Crystal Palace can top this league then it says a lot about the division. Huddersfield deserve a lot of credit for being where they are though.

Sonny
It's because their manager doesn't criticise mistakes in public. No, actually it's because they boo their players loads. One of the two.
Guest tha_knows
Call it sour grapes or wotever but I honestly didn't rate them at Hillsborough, the result flattered them. Long ball merchants, the only time I saw them pass it was when Norwood and Clayton made about 5/6 passes between them in the second half, without a Wednesday player closing them down. Then again how many teams have been allowed to do that this season.

lanzaroteowl
They simply signed better players than we did. Allowing them to play their preferred formation in the games, which breeds confidence throughout the team and gets results.
