Guest bigblue
Spot on mate he really was the last piece of the jigsaw. What a let down he was. Blades fans I know still dig me for that one. How does that work? If he'd signed for Utd, he'd walk into their best ever XI. So how can they take the wee wee out of us just because he wasn't as good as the rest of our team at that time (all of whom would also walk it into their best ever XI had they had the fortune to ever see players of that stature). A player of his ability on our left wing today is exactly what we need. Unfortunately we're nowhere near that level yet. mrgund
He never lived up to the hype. Came across as a lost plastic Londoner to me.

WayneTheOwl
Chris Bart Williams - the first time I saw him warming up before his first game, the lad had some right skill - I had never seen a player juggle the ball like he was doing. I liked that guy (not in that way of course).

bigrbuk
There hasn't been one, not even Antonio - too rich for some and unproven. Paulo was hot headed, Hirst came from Barnsley, Waddle was past it, as was Dessie. Penalties don't count and their FM stats just don't cut it. Eaton_Swfc
I remember being really buzzed when we signed de Bilde... We did need a goalscorer. He was absolutely moules en frites! French ?
Guest Ozzieowlpelvicthrust
Andy Sinton. The final piece in the jigsaw. We needed a proper left winger, so we went out and bought the best in the country , England international costing 2.75M. Everybody seemed to agree he was the best around and we got him. He was ****! Absolutely this. Pity is we let John Harkes go who was a better team player and more productive, if not a left winger. We also tried to force Sinton into our way of playing expecting him to beat his man and deliver a quality cross from the touch line, whereas at QPR who were more counter attacking, he tended to play on the shoulder of the full back and get in behind direct on goal. Remember a game against a depleted Chelsea team where he had about 30 chances to cross, made 5 crosses and only got one above knee height!
