Wednesday-Wonderland
i'd be happy with this. still fuming about how megson has been treated but compared to dave jones and paul rumbleing ince i'd be over the moon with big mick.
Sinner
Or perhaps incredibly style AND substance. Imagine that. We'll have to stop shopping at Netto for that to happen.
the_vinyl_frontier
Would definately pick Mick over Jones.
SiJ
McCarthy would be a top appointment. . .though I'd have to refrain from the muppet jokes for a while.
Wednesday-Wonderland
Would definately pick Mick over Jones. anyone with an ounce of intelligence would. he absolutely beasted the championship with wolves whilst playing attractive attacking footy, and was doing a great job with them in the prem too. Spookone
Hey - MM hires MM - some weird stuff going on here me thinks. Would MM come to League 1 with very little to spend, I would be surprised,
owls maniac
Id be shocked if it's Mick. Big drop from the Premier league.
Bluesteel
Megson should still be here, we all know that. But seeing as he's not coming back. McCarthy is the man with the best CV.
Guest wewantsturrockback
MM would be my choice. maybe not a wednesdayite but think he would bring the same hard working aspect to us, and also some attractive football. Is he really a serious contender though? He's managed in the prem, and been let down by his players leading him to get sacked. Would he be willing to drop to L1? albeit that if we get what we hope, he would be a championship manager next year? I would like MM, but think it's Jones

petrie18
Going off on a tangent 'ere, but IF McCarthy signed, do you think this could increase the possibility of signing Batth permanently?
AgileBeastt
Don't even mention warnock.
oh_weds_we_love_you
Really?! Is that why he just took the job on to try and get Leeds promoted this season?
mcmigo
Mad Mick - a man with his backside in the bacon slicer. He wouldn't come to Wednesday, nor would I want him to.
Rhubarb n Custard
I think Mick would be sound - Is he really gonna jump 2 leagues though?
Wednesday-Wonderland
Really?! Is that why he just took the job on to try and get Leeds promoted this season? he said he's retiring at the end of next season whether he gets leeds to the prem or not. the death of the forest owner got to him, as he'd spoken to him on the day of his death. made him realise he wants to spend time with his family instead of 'dying on the job'. helmut_rooster
I would have rather kept megson, than have Berts stunt double.

lowershiregreenowl
23 posts into the thread and nobody has mentioned him getting Simek sent off about 6 years ago. I'm impressed Owlstalk. THIS
