AJowl
Another coming from twitter: #swfc have turned down a £200k bid from #barnsley for Mark Beevers. I am glad we turned it down if this is true.

AJowl
I think he is worth a lot more than 200k and he is an important backup player if nothing else. I know megson will probably want to bring in a more permanent center back to replace Batth in his succesfull pairing with jones at the end of last season, but I think Beevers is worth more than 200k. Handball_!!
He'd be one of the players I'd be less wanting to leave. I still think he will come good for SWFC given a decent team around him and some good solid no nonsense coaching.
TheBoyBeevers
Beevers isn't for sale at that price. We could try sending them Spurr instead though and see if they notice the difference.
bigrbuk
Another player with a big year ahead. Megson rates him and he started to look the part again before he fractured his cheek. He should be pushing for a place this year and trying to hold it down.

BRUCE LEE
They got £1m plus for Shackell and offer £200k for Beevers. Not saying Beevers is AMEZIN like, but that's frankly pathetic. Thank christ we're no longer in a position to get bullied in the transfer market.
Lincowl
How much do we think he's worth then? £500k would be enough IMO, he shows very little of that early promise these days.

Just been chatting with a dingle about this, I suggested £400k rising to £800k if he has a good season.
Guest JonTheOwl66
Beevers shouldn't go unless we get an offer of over £1m. Will be a good player this coming year.
trevdi9
They can have Teal and sedgewick for a quid and a six fingered shuffle,On secon'd thoughts i'l pass on the shuffle .So a quid it is then.

He's worth whatever someone else is willing to pay. Barnsley have just recieved £1m for Shackell.... so i'd start at £1m.... It's more to do with understanding the bidding/selling clubs financial situation, then negotiating from there.
